The scraper conveyor is a conveying equipment that uses the scraper installed on the traction member (chain) to drag the material from the feed inlet along the fixed trough, moves forward and unloads the material at the exit.
The scraper conveyor is mainly composed of scraper chain, machine trough, supporting wheel, driving wheel, tensioning wheel, feeding port, discharging port, transmission device and so on. When working, the chain and the scraper installed on the chain are driven by the driving wheel, and the material is pushed by the scraper in the direction of movement, which overcomes the friction resistance with the casing, so that the material can be conveyed as a continuous whole, to achieve The material entering the feed port is scraped along the machine groove to the discharge port for discharge.
The scraper conveyor is suitable for conveying lumpy, granular and powdery materials with uniform size over a long distance.
The scraper machine has three forms of horizontal, inclined and vertical conveying. The horizontal conveying scraper machine is divided into two types: flat type and U type. The flat scraper will leave some residue on the sides of the chute. The U-shaped scraper machine can basically have no residue, so it is also called self-cleaning scraper machine. Especially suitable for conveying premix and compound feed powder in feed processing plants
